Sorry it's taken me so long to get the blog going. Student teaching is going really well but it is also very demanding. I have the survey for you to review. I e-mailed you how to view the survey. The survey is called teaching evolution in Fairfield County, Ohio. I discussed it with my mom who used to teach, and she thinks I will get more replies if I keep it concise. Therefore I did not include too many short responses. Let me know what you think of this. I have the e-mails of the life science teachers in Fairfield County ready to go after I revise the survey.
Also, I sent you my proposal through e-mail for the paper on evolution in Fairfield, County schools.
Last week I did alot of reading in the book you gave me. I am about a quarter of the way through, and have been taking a lot of notes. It is a really great resource!
From now on I will discuss the progress on this study with you weekly at least.

That all sounds great. I will read your proposal and the draft survey this week and get back to you. I am glad to hear that teaching is going well. I figured with your first week you were pretty busy.

I would be interested in seeing a new draft of your proposal or paper outline when it is a little more fleshed out. I think your concept is great, but I cannot tell exactly where you plan to go with the background material. Maybe you can send a more complete outline as the paper develops.
